My ultimate research goal is to explore how human and machine acquire and evolve compositional and genralizable concepts (e.g. interpretations, relations, rules, and strategies) through social and physical interaction in real world for reasoning and planning. The central theme of my research is to elucidate the nature of concepts with symbolic and natural language representations in intelligence. I harness them for human-like machine intelligence, where learning and reasoning are data-efficient and fast-adaptable.
